Nyrop earns first career Summit League Co-Peak Performer of the Week award

Max Nyrop was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Co-Peak Performer of the Week by the league office on Monday
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Graduate student Max Nyrop was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Co-Peak Performer of the Week by the league office on Monday.
The Almeda, Calif. native helped the Tommies secure the conference series against Omaha last weekend. Nyrop slashed a combined .545/.545/1.272 for an OPS of 1.817 in three games played over the weekend. He went 6-11 with two doubles, two home runs and seven RBI.
The weekly award is the first of Nyrop's career and marks the second weekly honor by a Tommie this season.
The Tommies return home to finish the 2024 season and look secure the regular season Summit League title. The Tommies set to face Oral Roberts in a three-game series from May 16-18.
