Matthew Armstrong was tied with Rexing at the beginning of the day but after a 74 (+4) he fell into a tie for 20thplace at 144 (E). The senior shot two over on the front nine with four bogeys and a birdie and turned it around with an even score on the back nine. He bogeyed the 15th hole but rallied with a birdie on the last hole of the day. He has been a menace on the par 5's so far with the second lowest score of the tournament (-5) on such holes.

Will Frazier shot two strokes lower than he did during the first round. His 72 (E) bumped him up four spots into a tie for 28th place with an overall score of 146 (+2). Frazier got out to a scorching start, birdieing each of the first three holes. He finished three under on the front after a birdie on the eighth and bogey on the ninth. The senior endured a topsy-turvy back nine with birdies on holes 10 and 14 and bogeys on holes 11, 12, 13, 16, and 17.

Freshman Gavin Newkirk dropped seven places into a tie with his teammate Will Frazier after a 74 (+2) on the second day. Both golfers are just four strokes out of the top 15 with 18 holes remaining. Matthew Garside substituted in for Zach Rouleau so neither of their scores will count for the remainder of the tournament. Garside shot a 74 (+2) with four birdies and six bogeys.
