Women’s Tennis drops day two match at Southeastern Louisiana

In first match between the two squads, the Lions defeat the Tommies, 4-0
HAMMOND La. -- The St. Thomas women's tennis team continued its road trip to Louisiana with a match against Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday. In the first match between the two squads, the Lions defeated the Tommies 4-0.
The first-time duo of Naisha Srivastav and Emme Johnson earned the first win of the day in doubles action (6-1). The pair of Regina Talavera and Marthe Degeorges fell in a close battle to their Southeastern opponent (6-7, 1-7), and with Southeastern Louisiana picking up the victories in top-two doubles spots, the Lions earned the doubles point to open the match.
The Lions went on to win three singles victories, claiming the match and the 4-0 victory over St. Thomas.

St. Thomas continue the trip to the Southern United States with a match at Jackson State on March 28, 2024. The match is set to start at 1:00 p.m. in Jackson, Mississippi.
