Women’s Tennis falls to No. 37 Denver in Summit League Opener

Denver tops the Tommies in the first conference match of the season, 7-0
BLOOMINGTON, Minn.-- The St. Thomas women's tennis team hosted their first match of the weekend against No. 37-ranked University of Denver on Saturday afternoon. The Tommies fell to the Pioneers by a score of 7-0 in their first conference match of the season.
Denver won all three of the doubles matches on Saturday. The pairing of Olivia Paradise and Yinong Ma lost to Caroline Driscoll and Louise Wikander (3-6). Wikander and Driscoll are 8-3 as a duo this season.
The Pioneers earned victories in all six singles matches. In the No. 6 spot, Sophomore Naisha Srivastav fell to Denver's Karsyn Evans (4-6, 3-6)
Freshman Caroline Lindahl won six games in the No. 3 spot, but eventually fell to Denver's Driscoll (2-6, 4-6).
