St. Thomas partners with Athlete's Thread

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Vice President and Director of Athletics Phil Esten announced a new licensure partnership for student-athlete Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). The Tommies will partner with Athlete's Thread, a leader in custom NIL merchandise to launch new co-branded products featuring St. Thomas student-athletes and teams.
"Partnering with Athlete's Thread provides a new avenue and opportunity for our student-athletes to invest in themselves and connect with the Tommie community and fans," commented Esten. "This collaboration benefits our student-athletes, giving them to opportunity to showcase who they are while participating in an entrepreneurial opportunity, and our fans, who will be able to support their favorite Tommies in a new way."
Through the initiative, student-athletes will have the opportunity to build their personal brands and create a revenue stream through exclusive, co-branded and customized merchandize featuring the name, number and image. Athlete's Thread will provide each participating student-athlete with their own personalized store, which will showcase officially licensed products, including jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and more.
