Tennis completes day two at the NIU Invitational

Olson goes undefeated on Saturday, wins two doubles and one singles match
DeKalb, Ill. – The St. Thomas Women's Tennis team continued play at the NIU Invitational on Saturday morning.
In morning doubles play, the duo of Caroline Lindahl and Lily Olson picked up the Tommies' first win of the day, defeating a pair from NIU, 6-4.
Olson and Anna Sidorenko competed in a second doubles round, winning their match 6-3.
The first-year doubles partners, Anna Louise Bjørnestad and Ingrid Forsberg, earned a victory against Marquette, 6-3 on Saturday.
Olson remained undefeated on day two of the NIU invitational, defeating Joelle Fiallo Schad of Marquette, 6-4, 6-1.
Jannah ElNemr picked up the second win in singles action earning a victory against Sreevally Medishetti of Lewis, 6-3, 4-0 (retired).
In a close singles battle, Caroline Lindahl was defeated by Erika Dimitriev of the Huskies, 6-7 (2-7), 6-1, 10-7.
