Vermillion, S.D. -- Tommie Women's Tennis took a 6-1 loss at South Dakota in a Summit League dual meet Friday afternoon.
The Coyotes (4-12 overall, 2-3 Summit) took the doubles point with a 6-1 and 6-2 wins at Nos. 1 and 3. They secured the team victory by winning five singles matches, including two in three sets.
Naisha Srivastav won the Tommies' lone point, at No. 6 singles, 7-6, 5-7, 10-7 -- her second singles win of the week.
Next Up
St. Thomas is home on Easter Sunday April 9 for an 11 a.m. match vs. Omaha. That competition will be played at Bloomington's 98th Street Lifetime Fitness facility.
St. Thomas closes its season April 16 at Western Illinois.
