Tough CSUN team blanks visiting Women's Tennis

Northridge, Calif. -- The CSUN Matadors ran their win streak to eight and moved to 8-0 at the home this season with Monday's 7-0 non-conference defeat of Tommie Women's Tennis.
CSUN (11-2) swept the doubles point with three 6-2 decisions. They pulled out close battles at first and third singles to help secure the shutout victory.
For the Purple, Marthe Degeorges lost 7-6, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Shrichandrakala Tentu lost in three sets at No. 3 singles.
St. Thomas is playing three more matches on their California trip this week which continues Tuesday at Concordia-Irvine, and includes Long Beach State and Fullerton.
