Softball goes scoreless against Bradley on Sunday

Columbia, Mo. - St. Thomas softball (2-13) was shutout in a 9-0 loss to Bradley (10-8) on the final day of the Mizzou Classic.
The Tommie pitching staff struggled to contain the Bradley offense, allowing multiple runs in three of the five innings. Megan Baniecke received the start and allowed six runs in 1.2 innings with two strikeouts. Senior Kendall Hopkins pitched to five strikeouts in 3.1 innings pitched against the Braves.
St. Thomas' offense, held hitless for the third time this season and second time this weekend, struggled on Sunday. Sarah Hudson and Coryn Jacobson each reached on walks for the Tommies.
