El Nemr claims a three-set victory in the top spot for Women’s Tennis against SIUE

Waterloo, Iowa – The St. Thomas Women's Tennis Team (0-6) fell to SIUE (7-0) by a score of 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
Sophomore Jannah El Nemr won the No. 1 spot in three sets after dropping the first set 2-6 but rallied to win the point with 6-4 and 6-3 victories.
St. Thomas returns to action next as they travel to Alabama to face Jacksonville State on Friday and Alabama A&M on Saturday.
