St. Thomas junior guard Riley Miller has been selected as one of 15 players on the D3Hoops.com All-America team after leading the Tommies to an unbeaten record in a condensed season. The Eden Prairie native and Benilde-St. Margaret's High grad was selected to the third team.
Miller is St. Thomas' eighth All-America honoree in the 23-year history of the D3Hoops.com award.
He was previously named West Region Player of the Year -- the first St. Thomas men's basketball player athlete selected as Region Player of the Year since center Isaac Rosefelt was honored in 2006 and shared the award in 2007.
Among college basketball players with 50 or more 3-point attempts this season, Miller led all players in all NCAA divisions at 61.5 percent (32-of-52). St. Thomas is 20-0 in games on his career when he scores in double figures, and 22-1 since he joined the starting five in January 2020.
In 65 career games he has made 102 baskets from 3-point range at a 45 percent clip, with a near 4-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio with 161 assists to go with 525 points.
Miller (19 ppg, 9-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio) finished second to teammate Anders Nelson among all MIAC scorers this season.

Impressive Season
The Tommies went 7-0 in a Covid shortened season with several highlights:
- They finished ranked No. 2 in the final national poll
- They ranked second among all NCAA men's basketball teams in 2020-21 in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.91)
- They averaged 83 points a game, including 12.4 made threes a contest converted at a .403 clip
- They shot 51 percent from the floor and averaged only 8.2 turnovers a game
- The program won their last nine games of their Division III era, including seven in a row away from home and posted a 22-1 record since mid-January 2020
