Women's Tennis wins third in row, 8-1 over Cards

Tommie Women's Tennis ran its win streak to three and stayed unbeaten against Division III opponents with Sunday's 8-1 defeat of St. Mary's in an MIAC match held indoors at Eden Prairie Lifetime Fitness.
St. Thomas (3-3 overall, 2-0 MIAC) swept doubles and the matches at the top of singles. Freshman Nicole Snezhko, Olivia Paradise and freshman Jannah ElNemr won at first or second doubles and or Nos. 1-2-3 singles.
Coach Ken Cychosz said his team has shown toughness with three at least one long road trip each weekend and six overall matches contested in 16 days to open the season.
The Purple stay busy with a Friday March 26 match against St. Catherine in Lakeville, plus a Sunday March 28 contest at St. Ben's.
