Women's Hoops cruises to fourth victory

Freshman guard Katelyn Stanley scored a career-high 14 points to lead a deep and balanced attack as host St. Thomas rolled to an 89-42 win over Augsburg Saturday afternoon in MIAC women's basketball play in Schoenecker Arena.

Twelve different players scored for the Tommies (4-1 overall, 3-1 MIAC), who knocked down 10-of-17 from 3-point range and shot 57 percent on the day.

Brynne Rolland added 13 points, freshman Kate Burns added 10 points and Macy Hatlestad added nine points and seven rebounds.

The Toms play at home Wednesday against unbeaten Gustavus.

Jen Masello led Augsburg with 12 points.
