Jackson Bond scored all four goals and Jacob Berger stopped 26 of 28 shots as St. Thomas Men's Hockey stayed unbeaten with Saturday night's 4-2 road win at St. Mary.s
The Purple (3-0-1 overall, 1-0-1 MIAC) handed St. Mary's (4-1, 1-1) its first defeat.
The Toms played three games over three consecutive nights and went 2-0-1. In the process they ran the program's unbeaten streak to nine games (8-0-1) dating back to mid-February 2020.
Thomas Magnavite and Ryan Stoynich scored the SMU goals.
St. Thomas is scheduled to play three games next week: Wednesday at home in an MIAC test against Gusatvus; Friday night at home in a non-conference game against Augsburg; and Saturday night in an MIAC game at Augsburg.
