Chicago, Ill. – The St. Thomas Women's Basketball team went on a 5-0 run in the final 55 seconds of the game to defeat Chicago State, 62-57, and earn its second Division I era win.
"Very proud of the team, we took some big steps in understanding our identity both offensively and defensively and how we play together," said Head Coach Ruth Sinn. "It was a total team effort, everybody on the floor, on the bench all working towards the same goal. I couldn't be more proud of this team and how we responded after a tough game against Northern Iowa, it's not easy to lose in that fashion, but we learned from it and moved forward."
