Freshman Lauren Galvin had 20 kills and nine digs as visiting Tommie Women's Volleyball (3-20 overall, 2-13 Summit) ended a nine-game losing streak with a four-set road defeat of North Dakota. St. Thomas won 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18.
Grace Anetipa had 38 assists and 13 digs. Freshman Libby Mattila added 13 kills and three aces. Carrie Rutledge had 20 digs, Emma Honsa had six blocks and Ellie Dammann added eight kills.
Coach Thanh Pham's team has home matches Nov. 5-6 against South Dakota State and South Dakota.
