Volleyball falls short in 3-0 home loss to Bison

North Dakota State capped a weekend road sweep in the Summit League with Saturday's 3-0 defeat of Tommie Volleyball at Schoenecker Arena. The Bison won 25-23, 25-18, 25-18.
NDSU (8-9 overall, 2-3 Summit) hit .279 and had seven service aces. Ali Hinze recorded 13 kills, including the two deciding points in the first set to break a 23-23 tie.
The Purple (2-12, 1-3) got 12 kills from Lauren Galvin, 10 digs from Carrie Rutledge, 13 assists from Eva Fitzgerald, and seven kills and two aces from Selena Levendoski.
St. Thomas is back home Tuesday night to face Western Illinois.
