2/8/2020 12:00:00 AM | Women's Basketball

Junior guard Macy Hatlestad scored 14 points to lead five Tommies scoring in double figures in Saturday afternoon's 79-53 victory over visiting Concordia-Moorhead in conference play at Schoenecker Arena.

No. 20-ranked St. Thomas (17-4 overall, 13-3 MIAC) has won 10 of its last 11 games. The Toms made 12 baskets from 3-point range, had only 11 turnovers, and posted a 44-38 rebounding edge.

Emily Beseman scored a game-best 21 points for the Cobbers.

Balance was a key for St. Thomas: Allie Spaulding scored 13 points, Brynne Rolland had 11 points and eight boards, Shayla Wallin had 10 rebounds, Amber Darge scored 12 points, and Noelle Tomes added 10 points.

St. Thomas plays at No. 5-ranked Bethel on Wednesday. The Royals took their first season loss Saturday at St. Mary's and saw their MIAC lead shrink to one-game on Augsburg and two on the Tommies with four games to go.
