Tommie Men's Hockey received goals from Luke Radetic and Justin Kelley just 23 seconds apart late in the contest for the tying and go-ahead scores in a 5-3 comeback win at first-place Augsburg.
Kelley added an empty-net goal to secure the win for St. Thomas (11-10-3 overall, 8-6-1 MIAC).
Henry Baribeau stopped 31 of 34 shots in net, and Brett Gravelle, Andrew Kangas and Radetic each had a goal and an assist. Jake Peterson had two assists.
St. Thomas' win combined with Friday losses by Bethel and St. Mary's secured a spot in the five-team conference playoff field -- the Tommie program's 35th MIAC playoff trip in the 35th year of the format.
The two teams play again Saturday in Mendota Heights (7 p.m.). St. Thomas and Gustavus are locked into a No. 4-5 game next Thursday night, while Augsburg, Concordia and St. John's are in a three-way fight for the regular-season title.
