Overtime goal sinks Men's Hockey in Duluth

St. Scholastica converted a long shot through traffic from the blue line midway through overtime to take a 2-1 victory over St. Thomas in non-conference men's hockey play Tuesday night in Duluth.
The Tommies (9-9-3) outshot the Saints 31-23 but never led. Jack Vincent's power-play goal midway through the third period tied the game for St. Thomas, but two other Tommie power-play tries came up empty in the final 7:00 of regulation.
Luke Radetic and Brett Gravelle assisted on the Tommie goal. Cam Burggrabe had 20 saves in net and helped keilled off a 2:00 penalty of 5-on-3 in the final period.
The Purple play two against Hamline this weekend in MIAC play.
