Women's Hockey posts shutout win on home ice

St. Thomas Women's Hockey used goals from Sarah Moy, Alyssa Wallace and Maddy Fiedler during an early 6:01 span on the clock en route to Friday night's home 3-0 win over St. Catherine in MIAC play in Mendota Heights.
Wallace added two assists, and Moy, Fiedler, Mikayla Kero and Maija Almich recorded one assist apiece.
Eryn Cooley stopped all 12 shots she faced in net for the Tommies (10-4-3 overall, 9-2 MIAC).
The teams play again Saturday (2 p.m.) at Drake Arena, just east of the SCU campus in St. Paul.
