Men's Hockey holds on for 5-4 road win

Spencer Zwiener's short-handed goal broke a 3-3 tie and Jake Peterson's power-play goal proved to be the game winner as St. Thomas Men's Hockey scored a 5-4 victory over St. Mary's in Friday night's MIAC game in Winona.
The teams play again Saturday in Mendota Heights (7 p.m.) to close out the series.
Cam Burggrabe stopped 32 of 36 shots for the Toms, who survived two penalties in the final 4:18.
The Cards pulled within one goal on the last second of a power-play with 2:19 to play, then pulled their goalie for a two-man advantage over the final 50 seconds.
Andrew Kangas, Shayne Monahan and Luke Radetic also scored goals for the Tommies.
