Pitching sharp in Baseball's Sunday sweep in Florida

Dylan Brend had his first complete-game victory with a three hitter to lead Tommie Baseball's 6-1 win over Thomas (Maine) Sunday for a sweep of their non-conference games.
Three pitchers -- Jackson Schnettler, Nathan Sprouls and Shaun Falbo -- led the Tommies' 2-1 win over Thomas in the day's first game.
Brend struck out six and walked just one. Ryan Lust had two hits and two RBI.
Schnettler pitched 3 2-3 innings and allowed one run, five hits and one walk with three strikeouts. Sprouls retired all seven batters he faced with three strikeouts. Falbo took the save with two strikeouts. Dan Bollingberg had two hits and an RBI.
The Tommies (6-2) face Colby Monday.
