Freshman goalie Henry Baribeau stopped 32 of 34 shots and helped kill off all seven Cobber power plays in Saturday's 3-2 Tommie Men's Hockey win over host Concordia-Moorhead and a split of the weekend road series.
Broydon Stufko scored the go-ahead goal with 15:00 to play and the defense did the rest for the Tommies (6-3-1 overall, 4-2 MIAC).
Luke Radetic contributed a goal and an assist; Jack Christiansen added a goal; and John Peterson added two assists.
St. Thomas, which never trailed, ended an 0-for-10 streak on power-play goals over recent games as they converted two early chances for a 2-0 lead.
Coach Jeff Boeser team continued one good trend after exteding a bad one in Fridat's 4-2 loss to the Cobbers: St. Thomas is 5-0 this season in Saturday games but just 1-3-1 in Friday contests.
St. Thomas is home next Friday and Saturday to face Trine and Aurora. They resume MIAC play Jan. 10-11 against St. Mary's.
