Men's Hockey drops close game with Trine

The Trine Thunder scored with 7:48 left to snap a 1-1 tie en route to a 4-2 victory over the host Tommies in Friday night's non-conference men's hockey gane in Mendota Heights.
Trine (6-3) never trailed.
The Toms (6-4-1) pulled their goalie in the final 90 seconds but surrendurred two empty-net goals to fall behind 4-1. St. Thomas scored with 11 seconds left for the final two-goal margin.
Spencer Zwiener scored the tying goal late in period two for St. Thomas. Alex Trapp scored in the closing seconds. Henry Baribeau had 29 saves in goal.
The Purple are home Saturday afternoon (2 p.m.) to face Aurora (Ill.).
