The Tommies (2-1) had only 10 turnovers, shot 61 percent from the floor, and had a 40-27 rebounding edge.

St. Thomas fell behind 18-10 but closed the first half on a 43-16 run. UST started the second half on a 20-5 run as the Saints made just one of nine shots to start the half.
