Win streak hits four for Men's Soccer after road shutout

Jake Amey scored in the seventh minute and Tommie Men's Soccer added two late insurance goals 9:24 apart to record a 3-0 road win at Bethel in MIAC play Sunday afternoon in Arden Hills.
St. Thomas (5-3-3 overall, 4-1 MIAC) remained in the thick of the MIAC title race with five league games done and five remaining.
It was the third consecutive game that Amey contributed a first-half goal.
Troy Louwagie had three saves in the shutout, and the Toms had a 12-3 advantage in shots on goal.
George Marty and Michael Kays scored in the 78th minute and 88th minute. Sean Kurtenbach, Lucas Horton and Jacob Makela added assists.
The Toms are home next Saturday to face Carleton in a batlle of 2018 NCAA playpff teams.
