Junior Paige Cater scored two goals and an assist to lead a four-goal first-half surge as Tommie Women's Soccer scored a 4-1 home win over Hamline Saturday at South Field.
Coach Sheila McGill's Tommies (9-2-2 overall, 5-1-1 MIAC) extended their home unbeaten streak to 20 games.
St. Thomas' win plus Bethel's 1-0 defeat of first-place Augsburg leaves no unbeatens and four one-loss teams in the MIAC standings with two weeks to go in the regular season.
Sarah Pasternak was in goal for 90:00 and took the victory. Six Tommies scored points, and the home team had a 14-1 advantage in shots and a 10-2 edge in corner kicks.
Lauren Wikstrom and Joan Kornkven scored their first goals of the season. Seven different Toms have scored the team's last nine goals.
Alexis Lusthoff scored her first goal of the season for the Pipers (5-9, 1-7).
St. Thomas is home Sunday to face St. Scholastica in non-conference play (3:30 p.m.).
