Volleyball moves closer to No. 3 seed

Tommie Volleyball hit .225 and took a four-set victory at Bethel seed on Friday night in MIAC play. The Toms won 25-8, 18-25, 25-19, 25-20.
St. Thomas (19-7 overall, 6-2 MIAC), which plays Saturday at St. Mary's, moved closer to its goal of reaching the No. 3 seed for the MIAC playoffs.
Madie Kroehler had 17 kills and 11 digs, Julia Spacek had 14 digs, Katharine Mallak added 45 assists, Audrey Erickson chipped in nine kills, and Grace Bordson added seven kills and five blocks.
