Men's Hockey gets 2-1 road win at Superior

Benjamin Myers stopped 32 of 33 shots and Cullen Willox scored the go-ahead goal early in period three as Tommie Men's Hockey scored a 2-1 road win over UW-Superior Friday night in non-conference play. Jake Ahlgren assisted on both Tommie goals.
It was the first road win in two tries this season for St. Thomas (3-3-1). The Toms are 3-0 when they score two or more goals.
The Yellowjackets outshot UST 33-24. They took a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal 11:01 into the contest. The Toms tied the score early in period two in on Derek Olmschenk's first goal of the season. Willox scored 3:38 into the the third period.
The Toms play at No. 3-ranked Augsburg next Friday Dec. 1 to open a two-game MIAC series.
