St. Thomas rallied from a 2-1 sets deficit to edge No. 10-ranked UW-Stevens Point in five, 3-2, Friday afternoon at the UW-Eau Claire Nike/Eastbay Tournament.
St. Thomas rallied to beat St. Norbert in four sets and closed the day 2-0. The Tommies (6-4) have won six of their last eight matches.
The Toms topped the Pointer, 27-29, 25-20, 15-25, 25-20, 15-11. They beat the Green Knights, 24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-12.
UST plays two Saturday matches to close the trip: vs. Lakeland (10 a.m.) and vs. UW-Stout (noon).
