Johnny Panvicka scored his first collegiate goal -- an extra-attacker score with 31 seconds to play in regulation time -- as visiting St. Thomas and No. 3-ranked Adrian (Mich.) skated to a 3-3 overtime tie Sunday afternoon.

The Tommies (4-2-3) also played an exhibition game the night before in Adrian against the U.S. 18-Under National Development Team, losing 6-3.

On Sunday, Adrian (6-1-1) scored three times in a 6:14 span to take a quick 3-0 lead. UST inserted sophomore Andrew Rohkohl to play goaltender at that point, and in his first collegiate game, Rolkohl stopped 21 of 21 shots over the last 54-plus minutes of regulation and overtime.

Brett Gravelle scored a first-period goal and assisted on the game-tying score. Thomas Williams scored his first career short-handed goal midway through period two.

Seventh-year UST coach Jeff Boeser was denied in his opportunity to record his 100th career win.

The Tommies play next Friday Dec. 2 at Hamline, a 7 p.m. start at St. Paul's Oscar Johnson Arena.
