Volleyball falls in four sets to first-place team

MIAC leader Augsburg scored a four-set road win over St. Thomas in Saturday's MIAC volleyball play in Schoenecker Arena. The Auggies won 25-19, 25-14, 18-25, 25-16.
Whitney Lloyd had 11 kills and four blocks, and Ellie Meyer had 21 digs for the Tommies (13-6 overall, 4-2 MIAC).
St. Thomas was 19-19 in the first set by a 6-1 Augsburg run closed out the win. The fourth set was tied 8-8 before the Auggies pulled away to lead 22-12.
The Tommies play at home Wednesday against Carleton.
