Volleyball outlasts Augustana in five sets

Junior Taylor Lewis had 13 kills and 15 digs and sophomore Brooke Reichart added 13 kills and hit .273 as the visiting Tommies scored a 3-2 volleyball victory over Augustana Friday night in Rock Island, Ill.
UST won 15-25, 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 15-11.
Rebecca Hawkins had 17 assists and 18 digs, and Katharine Mallak added 10 digs and 13 assists. Grace Duffy had one solo and five assisted blocks.
The Toms (5-6) scored a 3-0 win over Beloit in a later match Friday night, 25-12, 25-13, 25-15.
St. Thomas has three matches in a four-day span this week starting Wednesday at St. Catherine.
