Junior Kaitlin Langer scored 23 points and sophomore Lauren Fischer recorded her first career double double with 10 points and a career-best 13 boards as No. 10-ranked St. Thomas Women's Basketball edged No. 5-ranked UW-Oshkosh, 67-58, in Wednesday's third-place game at the Wartburg tournament in Waverly, Iowa.

UST (9-2) halted a two-game losing streak. The Toms sank 23-of-27 at the foul line, including 11-of-14 in the fourth quarter.

Hannah Spaulding sank two layups to start a late 7-0 run in the final 3:15 that pushed the Tommie lead to 62-52.

UST freshman Kaylie Brazil contributed a career-high 12 points and four rebounds off the bench, including a 10-for-10 day at the foul line. Brazil scored just four points in four games this season before scoring 10 points in Tuesday's loss.

Langer was chosen to the six-player all-tournament team.

After playing nine of their last 10 games away from campus, the Tommies will play their next three games at home starting Jan. 6 against Gustavus.
