Third-seed St. Thomas won several close matches and posted a 5-0 win over sixth-seed St. Ben's in MIAC Women's Tennis playoff action Tuesday night. The match was played indoors at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville.
Shelby Henderson won at first singles and second doubles, while Kara Lefsrud won at first doubles and third singles to lead the Tommies (15-3).
St. Thomas plays in Thursday's 4:30 p.m. quarterfinals at No. 2-seed Gustavus.
