Third-seed St. Thomas closed its women's tennis season with a 5-1 road loss to Gustavus in MIAC semifinal playoff action in St. Peter.
UST was leading in two singles battles when the Gusties reached five points to secure the victory and halt the match.
The Gusties swept doubles play and won at Nos. 3-4 singles.
The Toms' Shelby Henderson led 6-3, 5-4 at first singles.
St. Thomas closed its season 15-3.
