Women start fast, finish 2-0 in California

Senior guard Jenna Dockter scored 20 points as No. 12-ranked Tommie Women's Basketball cruised to a 64-49 win at Occidental on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
The Toms (2-0) won both California games by double-digit margins and held each opponent under 50 points.
Fello seniors Elaine Warner had 10 points and Maggie Weiers added eight points and eight rebounds.
UST raced to first-half leads of 9-0 and 41-16. The Toms shot 50 percent from the field and helped limit Oxy to 29-percent shooting.
St. Thomas opens its home season Friday Nov. 21 against Buena Vista.
