St. Thomas advanced its men's and women's tennis teams into this weekend's MIAC Playoffs.
The Tommie men (10-5) are the No. 3-seed, while the UST women (12-5) are the fourth seed.
In the opening round, the UST men will face sixth-seed St. Mary's at noon, while the women will play fifth-seed St. Olaf at 3 p.m. The winners play in the Saturday morning semifinals.
For the men, sophomore Allen-Michael Muench is 10-4 in singles and 10-3 in doubles.
On the women's side, sophomore Kara Lefsrud is 13-1 in singles and 14-3 in doubles.
