"There were moments we played with the rhythm we want to create on both sides of the ball," said UST coach Jon Lowery, "but there was some decision making and execution we need to work on to make those moments into an entire game. Our young guys finished the game well to secure a shutout. A good result and we were thrilled to see the student and administrative support."
St. Thomas' six goals thus far in 2012 have come from five different players.
UST is home to face Minnesota-Morris on Sunday at 1 p.m.
