W. Hockey wins 5-0, gets MIAC playoff berth

Morgan Olson scored two goals and two Tommie goalies combined on a shutout as the host Tommies (13-8-2 overall, 9-6-1 MIAC) secured a winning season and moved back into third place in the conference with Sunday's 5-0 win over the Auggies (6-10-7, 3-10-3) on home ice in Mendota Heights.
Paige Baldwin, Kaylee Keys and Christina Rozeske added goals. Meghan Parker had three assists and Korinne O'Connor had two for the Tommies.
UST, which now has six shutouts this season, has allowed just 15 goals in its last 16 games and is 13-3 in that span.
St. Thomas also locked up one of five MIAC playoff berths. It can secure the No. 3 playoff seed with a sweep of Hamline next weekend in the final series of the regular-season.
