Win streak ends at 7 for Women's Hockey

The Tommie women's hockey team saw its win streak end at seven with Saturday's 3-1 loss to St. Catherine in an MIAC game pllayed at the University of Minnesota's Ridder Arena.
Taylor Schluter's goal late in the first period put UST ahead 1-0. But the Wildcats answrerd three minutes later to tie, then scored twice in a 2:44 span early in period three to take control.
St. Thomas (11-7-2 overall, 8-5-1 MIAC) drops into third place in the MIAC race. The Toms outshot the Wildcats 37-19.
UST plays road games Wednesday at UW-River Falls and Saturday at Augsburg,
