McConachie's goal leads W.Soccer 1-0 win

The host Tommies rode Morgan McConachie's goal in the 32nd minute, assisted by Nicole Lenz, to a 1-0 
win over Gustavus in MIAC women's soccer play Saturday at UST's South Field.
It was the first season goal and second career goal for McConachie, a sophomore from Lake Forest, Ill.
The Tommies' last eight goals have come from eight different players.
The Tommies (6-9-1 overall, 4-5 MIAC) have won two in a row. They outshot the Gusties 22-5 and had a 12-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Callan Faulkner recorded her second consecutive shutout in goal. It was the seventh shutout of the season for the UST defense.
St. Thomas is home Wednesday to play Carleton (3:30 p.m.).
