Men's Soccer gets 3-1 comeback win over Viterbo

The Tommie men's soccer team used points from five different players in Tuesday's 3-1 comeback win over Viterbo in non-conference play at UST's South Field.
The Hawks took a 1-0 lead on a goal in the 28th minute. Mike Hutton tied the score with a goal in the 33rd minte, assisted by freshman Doug Thoreson.
Alex Bernhardt scored his first collegiate goal, in the 51st minute, assisted by Nick Rapisarda, to put UST ahead to stay. Josh Pozner scored an unassisted goal in the 88th minute.
UST's Jace Leiferman played all 90 minutes in goal and had three saves.
St. Thomas (3-1) had a 17-5 advantage in shots and a 7-3 edge in corner opportunities. Viterbo (4-3-1) has an overtime loss to NAIA's No. 9 Grand View and a 3-2 win over St. John's.
The Tommies play Saturday night at Augsburg (7:00).
