St. Thomas and Macalester play tonight in MIAC basketball games, two miles apart on Summit Avenue. The women's 7:30 game is at UST's Schoenecker Arena, andf the men's 7:30 game is at Macalester's Leonard Center.
Both games will have live video webcasts.
Women's Basketball
The second-place Tommies (10-3 overall, 9-1 MIAC) face the Scots (4-10, 4-7). The teams played on Dec. 8 at Macalester with the Toms winning 77-49.
Macalester is coming off Monday's home victory over Carleton and Saturday's 83-82 overtime win over St. Olaf. Against the Oles, Kyanna Jones made a free throw with no time remaining i9n OT to break an 82-82 tie. Majra Mucic had career-best totals with 24 points and 16 rebounds, and added five steals and three blocked shots to lead Macalester. The Scots are looking for their first win away from their home court.
The Tommies reached 10 wins on the season with Monday's 69-62 home win over Hamline. Freshmen Taylor Young and Maggie Weiers combined to score 23 points in a game-closing 30-18 run.

Men's Basketball
St. Thomas (13-1 overall, 8-1 MIAC) will look to bounce back from its first season loss when it travels to Macalester (1-13, 1-8).
The Scots have a road win at St. John's and have seven losses by 10 or less points. In the Dec. 8 meeting at St. Thomas, they led the Tommies 55-52 with 8:30 to go but UST finished on a 30-18 run for a nine-point win.
