Women's Tennis tops Wildcats, 8-1

St. Thomas scored an 8-1 win over St. Catherine in women's tennis play Tuesday on the CSC campus.
UST (11-4 overall, 7-2 MIAC) split two third-set tiebreakers in singles.
Alex Frank and Allie Bruflodt won at first doubles and at first and second singles. Suzaane Brophy, Hadley Syverud and Mary Allen each swept their singles and doubles matches.
The Tommies will finish a suspended match on Wednesday at Carleton. They trail 4-1 with four singles matches still to go.
The MIAC playoffs run May 7-8 at Gustavus.
