In a match that resumed Wednesday after it was halted by a Friday night rainstorm, St. Thomas dropped a 6-3 decision to second-place Carleton in an MIAC women's tennis match in Northfield.
The Tommies (11-5 overall, 7-5 MIAC) trailed 4-1 before rain suspended play. The teams split the last four singles matches as UST won at third and fifth singles but had an injury default at six singles after the Toms' Mary Allen held a 6-4, 0-2 lead.
