Women's Hoops gets big win over Auggies

Carolyn Dienhart had 16 points for the Tommies (4-2 overall, 3-0 MIAC), who raced to a 25-4 lead in Monday night's 87-48 MIAC women's basketball victory over the Auggies (1-5, 0-3) in St. Paul.
It was the Toms' first victory in just their second game in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. St. Thomas is tied for the MIAC lead at 3-0 with Concordia-Moorhead.
Serenae Levine had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Augsburg.
Sarah Smith had 11 points, Becky Theisen scored 10 points, and Rachel Booth had seven points, eight boards and six blocks.
UST is home Wednesday to face St. Olaf.
