Women's Soccer tops No. 22-ranked St. Olaf, 2-0

Freshmen Jaclyn Glaser and Jenna Savino scored goals and Allie Byron had seven saves in the shutout win as St. Thomas topped No. 22-ranked St. Olaf, 2-0, in Saturday's MIAC women's soccer game in Northfield.
Coach Sheila McGill's Tommies (8-4 overall, 5-2 MIAC) moved into third place in the conference standings with the victory. St. Thomas has recorded 24 shutouts in the last three seasons in a 35-11-6 overall record.
The Tommies have won four consecutive games, with a combined 7-1 scoring margin. Savino has scored five goals in her last seven games.
Glaser scored in the 35th minute, assisted by Savino. UST recorded an insurance tally in the 60th minute on Savino's goal (assisted by Lexie Fisher).
The Toms play host to first-place Carleton Tuesday at 4 p.m.
