Women's Soccer gets 1-1 tie with Macalester

St. Thomas and Macalester played to a 1-1 tie in two overtimes Sunday night in women's soccer play in St. Paul at the Scots' stadium.

Freshman Jenna Savino scored in the 75th minute to put UST ahead 1-0, but Macalester answered with a goal in the 76th minute off a corner kick.

UST (10-6-1 overall, 6-3-1 MIAC) closes the regular season next Saturday at home against St. Mary's and probably needs a win to stay in the playoff race.
